I make coat to serve me in South America

That the majority in areas of Peru, Harari and Chief agrantina and other tours.

I saw a test of MONTBELL coats. In particular the models

FROST SMOKE PARKA

ALPINE LIGHT PARKA

Cost me a couple of questions I would like help with.

1. I saw some Forum members have their coats and wondering are they satisfied?

2. how their dimensions in comparison to others?

3. do you know the reason for the price differentials between the two coats? The cheaper contains some more and weigh the same so it kind of surprised me.

I fear excessive bloated and unwieldy first, do you think it really felt the difference in volume?

Thanks so much in advance,

Chen

Montbell are as a rule. Their dimensions are pretty standard. The difference of prices-probably. The specs look pretty similar, but apparently liquor has more sophisticated hat and his "sewing" a lot more cubes, which means less ' roaming ' make ' than sleeves like a cheaper (though both with stitches penetrate, which places potential source).

I have a coat (green) and I want a quality coat is relatively easy.

According to it seems the light "is a coat with less and therefore features is probably cheaper on notice that although they weigh almost the same weight enable Alpine's higher.

Another point – two coats are SEWN THROUGH CONSTRUCTION-i.e. that the stitching on the pockets make moving across the coat. Such a structure is simpler and cheaper but create "cold bridges" just because you have the insulation seam.

I bought two years ago for my husband the alpine version without the hat and it wants over and beyond. The jacket looks really good and incredible how easy. He warms up to minus 10 fun (our experience. Tested in the meantime). We haven't seen a massive feather that leakage plus. Total is pleased over and over.

The only drawback is that it feels very delicate coat (similar to other coats in this style and weight). Is not torn or something, but we always feel we have XL watch it (also because he cost a lot).

I have the Alpine since 2009 and is still intact after external loads using everyday and also excursions.
To make sugar 15% more and easier so he better reasons.
The Mirage ' warms considerably better and easier, but still expensive.
