So you I couldn't restore my previous user name unfortunately but not speaking it. Flight day 16 stole at the beginning of August and I'm torn between the two runways. Style: aschnies-free gear and cooking myself.

I would love some pros and cons to help you decide which one to do, assuming the weather is good in both.

GREEN Via Alpina-advantages: much less cluttered, is almost every day in camp, getting back easier and an option to exit the trail easily if time is not enough.

Cons: more expensive (??), 4 German words two what loosely is "drunk", Grindelwald, otenbroner and Marjoram was (not in).

WHR-advantages: so many talking about the track you want to see what all the fuss is about. I have a reasonable level of governance.

Cons: it's going to be packed (really??) in early August.

I can't really help you with your decision because you're Green Via Alpina I.

But some comments about what you wrote (all relate to WHR):

1. the only word that comes to me right now in German and in French is ' thank you '. I may know a word or two in each language, but really not much more than that. I had no problems with it on WHR. Therefore the consideration here is not a consideration.

2. with 14 days net, you easily enough the WHR. Even if you decide to finish at Europaweg. At best, if an unexpected reason you have to short. Nicholas, who is a half day to a day and a half from Zermatt (again, depending on the finish you choose) on the train line between Visp-Zermatt (replacing train en route to c).

So even the WHR is not so complicated to short in a day or two (and of course another way points), although as noted I can't compare it to a port on GVA.
The back is a bit long and Zermatt.

3. personal season was going on less cluttered (assuming you like both equally). Among the considerations that I mentioned as significant – together with the availability of camping houses. Although I walked the route in September so I don't know how really August Rush in orbit (especially for those who cook in a tent).

And note (and completely self-centered): think happy Forum-GVA reporting!cool2

It sounds like you already know the northern ridge, 2 more sections.
If I were you I would travel somewhere that hasn't seen.

The via Alpina trail Green is also in Switzerland, not even sure that is cluttered and less than WHR.
About the language this shouldn't even be a consideration. Always find somebody who speaks or understands a little.

Io_travel: language considerations are value added by me-of course you can always get along, but the most fun that you can communicate with people in their own language. VAG get back what is definitely the same 100 +-franc, anyway not going all the VAG but to ALTDORF there probably have a place to stay with relatives.
Arthur: I tripped very long in these places and most of the trip made by train, just long enough to realize that I have to go back there. I think it's the best Europe has to offer. Also in Chamonix Mont-Blanc and de la rooant was ...

Anyway if there is Jesus who did the VAG or can vouch for as people would love him.

I walk the via Alpina red and arrested last year in an area where two diverging paths and I can tell you for sure about 90% the area of the Jungfrau and the Eiger is the most popular area in Switzerland. So if you want a quiet path isn't what you find there. Neither in WHR agch.

I was on the Jungfrau region, but from what I've seen everyone taking trains or lifts-nobody's crazy enough to do these things. Right now I'm pretty close to the VAG-I've got a detailed plan for the 2 days accommodation + first so it looks pretty close. BTW for everyone who plans to take trains in Switzerland and others not familiar with their discounted tickets-enter the SBB website. instead of doing the search habits of going left down to supersaver tickets tab. Enter the red tab PURCHASE ONLINE NOW and then do your search. A few days before tickets can be found for 50 percent less, or even the same day. Forgotten. from South America who bought tickets on sale at CRUZ DEL SUR.

Short roaming Internet which Backpaker magazine selection in 2010 at Green Via Alpina as the best in the world.

(Leaving the Torres del Paine, Annapurna, John Muir Trail, and even the Pennine Way).

Goodness knows how and who plucked this list (I only bring things experts).

The magazine gives a few parameters that one's Solitude (best translation I can offer in this context is "forsaken").

The Green Via Alpina gets score 5 vs Annapurna who grade 3 (with 25,000 travellers per year) then it might give a clue about the extent of the ה"נידחות path.
