Hi, I want to go out in March for a region two months ago.
What feasible on this date? Piciti or e.t.?
Where do I start?
In General, I would like any information on the subject and articles/books to read.
Thank you!

Hey,

There is a lot of information here on the Forum. Use the search and find full information.

I did the two trails and happy to help. Two very different paths. Start by telling some what your background on what you're looking for from your trip.

Amir.

Right, some bigger.
I'm 22, released in December and began studying at the end of may, so I have (unfortunately) a long time to travel (as I said, around two months).
My experience on zero, I did some hiking in the land of 20-25 miles a day but nothing serious.
I always hated the truth, and only last year got ה"חיידק."

I read two pages of thread around the 20th of Appalachian Trail (PCT realized that the less work for me in terms of dates), enjoyed all the message written there and sucked a lot of information. The problem that most posts about attacks/name 7 years, and I really don't know how up-to-date content for the current year so asked for up-to-date information.
A little trouble with the issue of where the trail begins, and on arrival there.
(Thanks:

As for the question of what I'm looking for a trip-I want to go on this trip alone, so the travel comment is very important to me.
Want to know his views of the world, and can dralch once a week "to cut" what city/town and fall apart so better.

I went to aplatim in 2001 and made the PCT in 2007.

Also the dates AT wise doesn't exactly fit-start in March is very early and very dependent on winter. Early April is much more likely.

Anyway I highly recommend you do all you can to loosen up for 6 months and do all the track-another world

In terms of the views AT the falls what PCT, but as far as Hawaii, society, comfort and friendliness, both on the road and I think it's great towns on it. First trip alone, after the army AT must be perfect.

About travel-I hope someone was there recently could help you, but it seems to me like something pretty easy to find on the Internet.

The main things you need to worry about are:

1. financial budget for the trip himself.
2. travel equipment-I would recommend you to deploy our equipment Forum exactly what you have and what you plan to take on this can fall.

In terms of numbers — I started the trip with compnein:

This book "book that explains a little about where you're going with. It was very good to begin with. Later (NOC) also acquired Databook:
Http://www.amazon.com/Appalachian-Data-Trail Daniel Chazin/dp/1889386901

It's more one giant table telling you what's usually miles and miles (water resources, roads, shelters, etc.).

I don't know how people organize today with cell phones etc, but I'm guessing that this is the way books yet to go.

Amir.

Thanks for the reply with, unfortunately it is the only time I had, but in the future complete the blanks.
About equipment, I need to buy everything I have no normal rims, but it's something I do already scheduled the trip approaches, not something to dwell on it now.

You close on it ש"כולם" leave in early April?
From what I read in a thread about the fight.
Out around March 15th.

There are thousands of hikers on the AT and the PCT as those who go all the trail has more AT (I think it must be big bfar statistics, like everything else in America).
The number of travellers rises every year, although two films about walks in AT and PCT the previous year and increase the number

I know sit 2001 as man began 4000 and 500. And as far as those data + minus. According to this site it's the bulk of the AU-nama me out there.

Instant & https://www.google.co.il/webhp?sourceid=chrome = 1 & ion espv = 2 & ie = UTF-8 # q =% 20thru% 20hiker% PCT. 20number% 20hikers

Those data to PCT by this site:

Http://www.pcta.org/discover-the-long-distance-trail/hiking/2600 miler list,.

This is only for those who submit a request to the medal's name, so the numbers are actually higher.

If the deal looks AT Lee speaks for thousands of years PCT starting again.

To make the order AT the High Court began on Mount Springer, passing through North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and ends at Mount ktadin in Maine.
The PCT began in the United States and Mexico border near Campo, California, Oregon and Canada border and ends at showington (near anywhere).
You can do each of these course from North to South.

Anyway, for a trip of two months, can you board one of anywhere along its length, and which Greece.
Early March is too early for any of the trails. Still the end of winter, still cold. The PCT people usually begin to read early or mid-April. I was AT the time on 27 February, and it was cold. A year ago, someone started the AT even earlier, and snow and serious storms. It's not easy, but possible. I was looking for to start in the southern area, where the winter is over. Still have snow and cold supply even in March or the deserts of Southern California.

To the PCT you will need to request and receive a certificate (long distance hiking permit) they're giving (for free) to anyone who plans to go above 500 miles (a couple of months make it easily). But they only 50 certificates per day, people from the border with Mexico, so you'll have to bend on the start date for confirmation is available. They start handing out certificates at around mid-February. I guess if you talk to them and ask for confirmation that starts elsewhere have simpler.

You can get the information AT their official site here, and information on the PCT from their website here.

In recent years there is an increase in the number of hikers on the PCT. in 2015, the PCT about 2500 pramits handed out to walk to the North, South and 300 more 1600 others. It is true that the number of graduates is smaller, but there are quite a few hikers on the trail, and a lot less isolated than it was in 2007. There are of course also a lot of travellers do short segments for a day or weekend, and also has a lot on the AT, which still leads the annual statistics. Perhaps because of the smaller numbers of PCT, feels crowded in there too sometimes.
